The President serves as the institutional face of the Economic Club of Ghana — providing strategic vision, chairing the Annual General Meeting, representing the Club at the highest levels of national and international engagement, and supervising the CEO on day-to-day operational matters.

Directors have not yet been elected. Elections will take place at the inaugural Annual General Meeting and appointments will be announced in due course.

FECoG

Fellow of the Economic Club of Ghana

Conferment as a Distinguished Fellow (FECoG) is by nomination of the Board and ratification by the Patrons Council. Fellows are recognised at the Annual Lecture and receive lifetime privileges including speaking invitations, advisory roles, and protocol recognition at all Club events.

Eligibility

Outstanding contribution to economic policy, governance, business leadership, academia, or international development — with demonstrable impact on Ghana or Africa.

Nomination

Proposed by any Board member or Patron, seconded by at least two additional Board members or Patrons, and reviewed by the Fellows Selection Committee.

Conferment

Formally conferred at the Annual Lecture on Leadership & Governance in the presence of Patrons, the Board, and invited dignitaries.

Privileges

Lifetime seat at all Club events, use of post-nominal "FECoG", invitation to deliver keynote addresses, and advisory role to the Board.
